Movie Review: Ides of March

‘I’ll do or say anything if i believe in it.’ says Stephen Meyers (Ryan Gosling) in the political thriller directed by George Clooney himself. The storyline is prodigiously close to reality and as much as it foment political interests in a person, it surely makes sure to swipe it clean as it exposes the horrendous defects that comes with it. Ryan Gosling is excellent – from honest expressions to carefully carried out dialogues. The storyline is not so bad with a suitable supporting cast and carefully planned political maneuvers, the movie really shackles the viewers for a thrilling ride. George Clooney makes you believe in his commendable candidacy with his promising speeches but then again we see the antithetical side and we’re in the real world.
