Teenage Years

After trying so hard she finally gave up
Whenever he called she just hung up

Done with all the drama, lies and tears
Ten years from now she’ll laugh on these teen years

Out of all the girls who are into glamour, crushes and guys
There exist a girl who reads novel and eat fries

Family drama, heart breaks and falling grades
The reasons most of us ended up with liquor, drugs and blades

When we’re seventeen we feel like it’s the end of everything
But little do we know, there is so much more life has to bring

Nobody understands us so we are filled with emptiness and hatred
It’s like everywhere the shards of our broken souls are scattered

In a world full of judgmental hypocrites we kids are messed up
And somewhere in between being friends and watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S we all grew up.
