Fading in the dark,

Alone with no worries.

Following the path down,

Losing all senses one by one.

Wanting to shout out,

But no one listens.

It’s just my brain and I,

Killing me while I think.

They say all will be well…

Do they even know that

I am going crazy.

My mind’s out of control.

Looking at them while they speak,

The words go unheard.

It’s true when they say:

“Thinking can make a mess out of you!”
